CQDR Staging Site Overview & Requirements
The site is now at the revision stage—most of the design and layout is complete. Following our conversation with Jason, we've aimed to keep the site more graphical and informational rather than flooding it with photos. This helps showcase CQDR's capabilities without the site looking cluttered (especially when professional photography isn't available yet). I also took a slightly "against the norm" approach for a service-based business website to add more of a wow factor—moving into a dark theme with blueprint/schematic-style graphics across the site.
I hope you like the direction, and if it's not what you want, that's completely fine—just direct me and I'll adjust it. Below is the breakdown of what's done, what I'm changing next, optional pages, and what I need from you.
Home Page

- Services section: I may still refine the layout, and the service tiles will be dark navy blue (this will help the page flow better overall).
- I need a photo for the blank box next to "Why choose CQDR".
- I'll add an FAQ section (good for SEO and quick short-form info).

- "Request / Book inspection" buttons will open a contact form lightbox that connects to Mechanic Desk's API.

1) FAQs
Reason: Improves SEO and triggers keywords, because most people search by asking questions.
Need from you: Please provide a list of relevant CQDR questions + answers (the more the better). Note: I'll reword/optimise these to match common search intent while keeping them accurate.
2) Projects
Reason: Helps SEO and also showcases technical/larger jobs CQDR has completed, to demonstrate capability.
Layout: Blog-style page with project tiles that users can click into.
Need from you:

- Short description of each
- Photos
- Optional: challenges + how CQDR overcame them
Logos / Branding
As you'll see, the current logo is a placeholder for staging. This is temporary until I rebuild your logo as discussed with Jason.
Logo Rebuild (no redesign—just rebuilding it properly)
- Rebuild & vectorise the logo
- Create a logo/icon pack with different colours/styles for different use cases
Branding Guide (deliverable package)
I'll create a full branding guide you can hand to doc creators/printers/marketers (and keep internally). This includes:
- Brand story and values
- Logo usage rules (variations, spacing, do's/don'ts, file formats)
- Colour palette (RGB, CMYK, HEX)
- Typography
- Tone of voice
- Imagery/graphics rules
- Application templates (business cards, email signatures, social media, ads)
Extra Items (Optional but Recommended)

- Service areas/towns you want listed (helps SEO and sets expectations).
